The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaut Saint-Jacques 1er Cru has a detailed, tertiary-scented bouquet that blossoms in the glass. Blackberry, wild hedgerow and scents reminiscent of walking through woods just after an autumn shower. The palate is very well defined with filigree tannin.
