Fresh and focused, with a racy iron streak piercing the core of black currant and black cherry fruit. Brambly note fills in on the finish. Drink now through 2020. Score: 88 James Molesworth, Wine Spectator Maturity: 2017-2020 15 June 2017 |

Another very good Haut-Médoc with ripe red fruits, some real concentration, moderately dry tannins and crisp acidity. Enjoy now or at any other time during the next few years! Score: 90 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com 14 February 2017 |

The 2014 Cissac was very backward and broody on the nose, the word that comes to mind -- stilted. The palate is better with plenty of fruit although I find it not quite as enmeshed with the oak as I would have liked. Plus, there is a slight bitterness on the finish. Cissac can make splendid Haut-Médoc, but I am not convinced that this is one of them. Tasted September 2016. Score: 85 Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2018-2026 28 October 2016 |

Deep crimson. Smells of sweet, small dark wild berries and blueberries - inviting - and a touch of oak sweetness. Tighter and fresher than I expected on the palate. Juicy but firm. Dark and dry. Middle of the road but in balance. Score: 15 - 16 Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2017-2022 22 September 2016 |
