Tasting Notes

A wonderfully spicy, cool and fresh nose features primarily notes of green apple and citrus. There is both good volume and richness to the attractively vibrant and sleek flavors that culminate in a lingering and dry finish where a hint of bitter lemon arises. Lovey stuff for what this is and worth checking out. Outstanding Top value

The 2014 Bourgogne Aligote, from vines planted back in 1936, has an attractive, aromatic nose with Mirabelle and orange sorbet scents that are very "come hither." The palate has a pleasant fatness and fine acidity with a touch of lemon zest towards the finish to maintain tension. What a delicious Aligoté!
