The 2014 Manoir de Gay offers good depth and juiciness, not to mention considerable near- and medium-term potential. Dark cherry, mint, crushed flowers and savory herbs add lovely nuance. Expressive and open-knit, the 2014 will drink well with minimal cellaring. Today it is quite delicious.

Subtle, silky, smooth with lovely flavors of violets, blackberry and red plum. The new cellar allows for micro-vinification of small parcels (80% of this wine) and it is making a difference in the wine's detail and precision. A beautiful wine with fine-grained tannins and long length. Impressive. 100% Merlot.
