Tasting Notes

Fruity and caressing, with plum and light cedar aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, with medium, velvety tannins and a medium finish. A very approachable wine. Best after 2008. 1,415 cases made.

Score: 86

James Suckling, Wine Spectator Maturity: 2008+ 01 April 2008

A special parcel of Merlot on sandy soil, made at Eglise Clinet. Rude and round and pretty and fine. Very burgundian. Plummy fresh and round. Gentle, easy, approachable. A little diffuse but very charming. Could be a good buy for relatively early drinking.

Score: 16
