A special parcel of Merlot on sandy soil, made at Eglise Clinet. Rude and round and pretty and fine. Very burgundian. Plummy fresh and round. Gentle, easy, approachable. A little diffuse but very charming. Could be a good buy for relatively early drinking. Score: 16 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2009-2015 10 April 2006 |
