Echezeaux 2014

Saturated deep red. Expressive aromas of plum, redcurrant and smoky oak, accented by mint, menthol and spices. Plush and silky in the mouth, even voluptuous, with an almost chocolatey sweetness leavened by saline, spicy minerality. Conveys an impression of big volume without excessive weight. The tannins are serious but dusty and fine-grained.
