Tasting Notes

The 2013 Monbousquet Blanc has an attractive bouquet with hints of fresh pear, grapefruit and almond aromas that unfurl nicely in the glass. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, citrus lemon, grapefruit and, again, fresh pear notes with a slightly brittle but sustained finish. This has improved since I tasted it in barrel and should provide several years of drinking pleasure.

Very aromatic with sliced pear, cooked apple character and lemon rind undertones. Creamy texture. Full body, bright acidity and pretty fruit. Hints of salt and chalk. A blend of sauvignon blanc and sauvignon gris. Drink now.
