Pavie Macquin

Chateau Pavie Macquin is a Premier Grand Cru Classé B estate in Saint-Émilion, situated on the appellation's famous limestone plateau. Founded by Albert Macquin, a pioneer in combatting phylloxera through vine grafting, the estate remains under in the family but is managed by Nicolas Thienpont, with oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt overseeing winemaking.
Pavie Macquin's wines are known for their richness, concentration, and balance, offering notes of ripe black fruit, spice, and a characteristic limestone-driven tension, minerality and freshness.
