Blancaneaux

Inglenook is the historic estate in Rutherford, Napa founded in 1879 by Gustav Niebaum and known for producing legendary wines in the 1940s. The Inglenook estate was bought by Francis Ford Coppola in 1975 using profits from The Godfather, with its premier red Rubicon first produced in 1978. Finally in 2011 Coppola acquired the rights to use the Inglenook name, and in the same year, he brought in Philippe Bascaules, formerly Estate Director of Chateau Margaux, to oversee winemaking and to restore the legacy of world-class wines made from Bordeaux blends. Rubicon is the estate’s flagship wine; after blending, the remaining best lots go into the estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Blancaneaux is a white Rhone-style blend of estate-grown Marsanne, Rousanne, and Vigonier.
