Burgundy 2018: CLOS FRANTIN
The historic Domaine du Clos Frantin is the flagship estate fo the Bichot family, boasting an enviable range of Grands Crus and 1er Crus holdings in Vosne Romanee.
In recent years the quality has been on a steep upward curve as they adapt their approach to better reflect the character of the individual wines and use less new oak.

The palate is medium-bodied with crisp red berry fruit and a frame of quite firm tannins that should guarantee the longevity of this Malconsorts. It feels a little aloof on the finish, but it just needs time to soften its edges. Drink 2024-2045"
