TALBOT ANNOUNCES SPECIAL EDITION BOTTLE FOR THE 2018

This week Chateau Talbot has revealed that the 2018 vintage will be marked with a special commemorative bottle design.  To celebrate the 100th year of the acquisition by the Cordier family, 2018 Talbot will come in silkscreened bottles with a special design that recalls both the pillars of the cellar and the roots of the vines.

Chateau Talbot follows in the footsteps of other special edition bottle releases from Mouton Rothschild (2000), Lafite (2008), Angelus (2012) and Smith Haut Lafitte (2015).  These vintages are seen as landmark moments for the Chateaux, and have become collector’s editions with increased interest and prices on the secondary market.  It is likely that the 2018 Talbot will follow the same pattern with Bordeaux already reporting higher prices for the vintage.
