Drinking Wines
Chenade  £145 per 12 - Beautifully made Lalande de Pomerol from Denis Durantou - smooth tanins, gorgeous fresh black berries and dark perfumed notes.  92 Dec “super fresh and juicy - an easy wine to recommend”
Cruzelles  £210 per 12 - A little denser but with elegance and balance – tasting much more expensive than it is. 90-93 AG “especially powerful, structured expression of Lalande de Pomerol, and it works beautifully”
Laroque  £215 per 12 - Stunning value, high scoring St Emilion made by David Suire, the man behind one of the wine of the vintage (Beausejour Duffau) - 95-97 WA finishing very long and layered. Impressive!
Tour St Cristophe  £265 per 12 - An estate in the ascendancy, the 2018 is a deep and concentrated St Emilion with plenty of freshness - 96-97 JS fantastic texture and length...gorgeous tannin quality.
