KRUG GRANDE CUVEE 166

Krug Grande Cuvee
Unquestionably one of the finest non vintage Champagnes.

We are delighted to offer the newly released Krug Grande Cuvee Edition 166. This edition is a blend of 140 wines from 10 different vintages - the youngest of which is 2010 and the oldest 1998; the composition is 45% Pinot Noir, 39% Chardonnay and 16% Pinot Meunier.

Krug was founded in 1840 with the aim of making the richest, most generous expression of Champagne consistently, not only in vintage years. There is a richness and depth to Grande Cuvée (thanks to the age of the vintages in the blend) that makes it totally different from any other NV Champagne; it is unquestionably one of the finest Champagnes without a vintage on the label.

Grande Cuvee Edition 166 spent seven years maturing in the Krug cellars prior to release and, whilst drinking beautifully now, it will benefit enormously from prolonged cellaring.
