Bordeaux 2017: Tour Blanche, Lafaurie Peyraguey...

The 2017 campaign continues this morning with a couple of sweet releases; the "delicious" Tour Blanche (18/20 Julia Harding) and the "layered and beautiful" Lafaurie Peyraguey (94-95 Suckling).
All sweet wines may be ordered in half-bottles (case of 12x37.5 or case of 24x37.5) at no extra cost.

92-93 James Suckling "Very spicy with lots of dried-mango, apple and pear character. Full-bodied and very sweet and flavorful on the finish."
18 Julia Harding MW "Open and expressive with citrus, spiced pear and almond paste. Very sweet and viscous, generous, mouth-filling and still fresh. Delicious."

94-95 James Suckling "This is very layered and beautiful with dried fruit such as lemons, apricots and cooked apples. Full body, sweet fruit and a long and flavorful finish. Tight and focused. Phenolic yet fresh. Crispy."
92-95 Wine Spectator "A plump, open and forward style, with lots of white peach, apricot and pineapple fruit flavors backed by creamed melon and honeysuckle notes. Very flattering."
