Bordeaux 2015: Cantemerle, Ormes de Pez, Poujeaux

Today is a public holiday in France and so with many offices there now closed for the weekend, we expect no more releases now until Monday. 

En Primeur is definitely up and running now with many wines at the cru bourgeois level now available.  Yesterday's most notable releases include:

  • The reliable Classed Growth chateau Cantemerle, an impressive wine in 2015.
  • Also from the southern part of the Medoc between Margaux and St Julien, Chateau Poujeaux.
  • Following Meyney yesterday, another new cru bourgeois release from Saint Estephe with Ormes de Pez, made by the Cazes family of Lynch Bages.
